YI Advisors, the social-impact consulting arm of the non-profit Young Invincibles, is seeking a California Business and Technology Partnerships Director. This person will lead projects with clients, and community partners focused on two primary goals. The first goal is identifying and building partnerships that assist in the promotion of technology, tools and resources designed to increase higher education access and attainment. The second goal is identifying other potential clients that might benefit from similar services in both California and other states. The work will often focus on using technology (mobile apps, texting, etc) to address social challenges facing young adults.
Ideal candidates will have comfort with the issues Young Invincibles works on (health care, higher education, jobs and workforce development), and previous experience in a role doing consulting, strategic partnership, or business development.
This person will also support related projects for Young Invincibles.
Principal Responsibilities
Conducting outreach for partnerships and building relationships with those partners
Researching new partnerships and new technologies that can help further YIA goals
Identifying new business opportunities and clients
Coordinating technology development with other offices
Building a new department and providing strategic input

Qualifications:
Creative, energetic, and possessing a great attitude,
Entrepreneurial, able to work remotely and independently,
Professional and mature in all settings,
Excellent communications skills,
A passion for Young Invincibles’ mission.
2+ years of experience recommended, compensation based on experience,
If desirable, there is the possibility to work as a consultant or part-time initially.
