Human Resources Coordinator – Energy Solutions – Oakland, CA

We are looking to fill a Human Resources Coordinator position at our Oakland office. The person filling this role will use their previous recruiting experience to assist our HR Team through an extended period of growth. Successful applicants for the position will demonstrate working knowledge of the complete recruiting process cycle, effectiveness in moving candidates through each stage of our internal hiring process, and experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems. This person will also demonstrate the ability and willingness to complete human resources-related tasks outside of recruiting-specific duties including emergency planning, compliance, employee relations, event planning and other related areas.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serving as the liaison between the Company and candidates applying for our positions
Researching sources to help ensure a steady flow of candidates into our recruiting pipeline
Keeping hiring managers updated on hiring progress and ensuring that candidates are moved through the process in a timely fashion
New employee intake and ownership of related communications and planning
Research into new office locations for a growing company and development of plans for new offices in out-of-state locations
Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

BA or BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and 2-4 years of experience as part of an HR Team in a fast-paced office environment
Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse personality types and across different areas of the company.
Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to handle and prioritize competing priorities with minimal guidance
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
Business writing and editing ability with strong spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
A proven professional or personal commitment to the betterment of the environment and the reduction of GHGs
A delightful personality and a great sense of humor
