Job Description: YMAP seeks a part-time (possibility of full-time in the future) Administrative and Accounting Assistant to assist our President and other staff with general office duties, HR, and light accounting. Use your organizational skills to help improve the lives of thousands of young people in California!
Duties and Responsibilities
General office duties—filing, mailing, scanning, etc.
Scheduling travel and meetings
Maintaining contacts and donor lists
Employee reimbursement and expenses
Light Bookkeeping
Correspondence
Social Media Support
Meeting Preparation
Assist with special events
Other administrative duties
Skills/Experience
Positive attitude
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Careful attention to detail
Fluency with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Google Docs, DropBox
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Self motivated and efficient
Willingness to learn
Ability to work independently
Interest in non-profit work is a plus!
