Housing Outreach Advocate

SAFE NEST, providing services to survivors of domestic violence and their families seeks a Housing Outreach Advocate to work with domestic violence victims residing in Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority properties and others in the community.

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, empowerment and advocacy strategies.

Understanding of trauma response

Experience with community outreach activities

Comfortable with public speaking

Ability to work in varied locations with diverse populations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree including Women’s Studies, Social Work, Sociology or related field

3 years professional experience in a field relative to the position or combination of education and experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
