Legal Internship – Cheshire Law Group – Philadelphia, PA

Small, collegial law firm exclusively representing nonprofit organizations seeks hardworking and motivated intern to assist with serving clients’ legal needs.The objective of the internship program is to offer practical training experience to individuals interested in pursuing careers in law. Interns gain a general knowledge and broad understanding of private practice within the context of a small firm dedicated to serving the nonprofit sector, as well as specific skills related to the practice of law. Interns participate in the ongoing work of the firm and complete specific projects or portions of larger practice or policy initiatives. Interns are assigned to projects based on their academic background, professional skills, interests and career goals. At this time all of our internship positions are unpaid.

How to apply

Our yearly internship calendar is divided into three cycles: spring, summer and fall. Each internship cycle is approximately three months in duration.

Spring: January–May (application deadline: November 15)

Summer: May/June–August (application deadline: April 15)

Fall: September–December (application deadline: July 15)

Spring and Fall internships require a commitment of at least three full days per week. Summer internships are full-time, either four or five days per week. All internships require a commitment of three months.
