Performance Management Analyst – New York Foundling Hospital

The New York Foundling (the “Foundling”) is one of the oldest, largest and most well-respected human services agencies in New York. Established as a home for abandoned children, the Foundling has been saving children, preserving families, and building communities since 1869. The Foundling’s focus is on child welfare and the developmentally disabled and creating a community where each child, youth and adult enjoys the safe, stable and support relationships needed to reach his or her full physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual potential.We have over 1300 employees located in every borough of New York City, Westchester and Rockland Counties and in Puerto Rico.We are currently looking to recruit a Performance Management Analyst for our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) department, supporting programs throughout the greater New York area. The Performance Management Analyst will be responsible for:

Working with the CQI team and senior program staff to support the implementation and maintenance of agency-wide quality improvement and compliance efforts;

Working with the Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Management to analyze trends in agency program data for both Child Welfare and Developmental Disability services;

Working with the Analysis and Evaluation team to monitor program performance on key metrics;

Identifying performance trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement;

Working with the Directors and program staff to develop, implement and monitor technical assistance plans to improve performance;

Demonstrating competency in ACS Foster Care and Preventive Scorecards data and scoring methodologies;

Reviewing and reporting on performance data to senior leadership and program staff;

Performing case record reviews as needed to assess the quality of case practice with a focus on Safety and Risk;

Reviewing other records, including medical or Medicaid audits, as needed;

Assisting with special investigations and internal reviews as needed;

Reviewing policies and procedures for NYF as well as external oversight agencies;

Providing updates to senior leadership and program staff as needed;

Coordinating responses for feedback;

Maintaining inventory of documents and relevant updates on shared drive; and

Actively participating in the preparation and implementation of the new Electronic Health Records database for the agency including the planning, development, and rollout of new workflows, business requirements, data entry, and reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

BA or BS degree, MA or MS preferred
Data analysis/data management experience
Experience in the child welfare field
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project Director
Experience with Oracle is preferred
