Reporting and Data Associate – Tahirih Justice Center

DESCRIPTION
The Tahirih Justice Center, a national nonprofit with headquarters in Falls Church, VA, seeks an analytical Reporting and Data Associate to provide data extraction and reporting support for internal and external reporting to the National Government Grants Manager, Foundation Grants Manager, and Systems Technology and Data Analyst. The position reports to the Director of Legal and Social Services.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Generate grant reports that reflect program services provided to Tahirih clients
• Generate grant reports that reflect program services provided to Tahirih clients
• Maintain dashboards for data monitoring across offices; including supporting programmatic monitoring, metrics for critical systems initiatives, strategic plan goals, etc.
• Generate reports for internal development documents (CEO Report, annual development documents and presentations)
• Conduct minor configurations to user interface in information systems (Legal Server)
• Maintain documentation for government grant data input and information systems’ user manuals

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related degree
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong Excel skills required: pivot tables, vlookup and formulas
• Willingness to learn new skills in data analysis
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to understand technical concepts, including data relationships and software configuration.
• Strong mathematical knowledge in statistics and algebra

Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to Excel’s Power BI tools a plus
• Exposure to Legal Server a plus

Annual salary and benefits: Compensation is competitive and dependent on experience. Generous benefits include 15 days of vacation leave in the first year and 20 days thereafter with an additional week of paid vacation between Christmas and New Year’s, sick leave, fully-paid employee health and dental insurance, a retirement plan, and professional development including in-house training programs, staff enrichment retreats and other growth opportunities.
