Senior Analyst, Digital – Everytown For Gun Safety – New York, NY

Everytown for Gun Safety seeks to hire a Senior Analyst in its NYC office to develop actionable insights into our email, SMS, social, web content and advertising programs. You’ll be responsible for providing the data-driven decisions that drive our efforts to educate, persuade and mobilize supporters.

Responsibilities

Manage activist and donor acquisition, retention and cultivation efforts by overseeing budget, optimizing conversions, tracking long-term value and developing projections.
Track, analyze, and optimize advertising, website, social media, email and SMS programs.
Standardize reporting and dashboards that reflect organizational goals and communicate results to stakeholders and organizational leaders.
Lead development of and assist in deploying testing priorities in consultation with digital business managers.
Improve digital data tracking systems and processes.
Collaborate with electoral, field organizing, grasstops, direct mail and other departments to improve data sharing systems and processes.

Qualifications

3-6 years of experience with demonstrated excellence in analyzing supporter or customer acquisition, retention and cultivation.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics or a similarly quantitative field of study preferred.
Expert knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
Understand database design and data management; bonus if familiar with CRM systems and email marketing programs.
Familiarity with web analytics and web optimization tools like Optimizely.
Ease at communicating findings for complex programs to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment with unpredictable hours.
