REPORTING FUNCTION: Clinical Director
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for sexual assault counseling. Provide direct and indirect services to sexual assault survivors and significant others. Implement outreach to sexual assault clients.
DUITES:
Administration
Participate on NJCASA’s listserv to keep up to date on all issues that affect sexual assault care including funding trends, legislation, training and best practices.
Attend NJCASA and other state, local committee meetings as appropriate.
Document cases in database system
Provide back up for shelter staff when needed.
Act consistently with agency’s philosophy and expectations.
Help identify and support fundraising activities as appropriate.
Perform all other related duties as required.
Attend weekly group supervision and present cases for review.
Attend weekly supervision with the Clinical Director.
Casework
Maintain a counseling caseload of clients including sexual assault survivors and significant others.
Facilitate a sexual assault support group and screen clients interested in joining the group.
Participating in the screening/intake of sexual assault outreach clients.
Provide or coordinate emergency crisis intervention counseling if necessary.
Meet with shelter clients when requested by shelter staff and/or residents.
Attend community and state forums as needed.
Interface with other agencies and network.
Represent the agency and participate in speaking engagements as needed.
Support agency events through your attendance as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in a social services related field, with a clinical license. At least two (2) years experience in direct and indirect services.
Completion of forty (60) hours of victim crisis intervention skills training within the first six (6) months of employment.
