Admin Coordinator – Richmond District Neighborhood Center – San Francisco, CA

This Admin Coordinator will be located at Richmond District Neighborhood Center (RDNC) Admin offices and will often be the first voice or face that our visitors will hear/see. For many of our phone calls and visitors, the primary language is Cantonese. He/she will provide excellent customer service to all our visitors. In addition, he/she will provide office support and data entry, interact with our tenants, and coordinate some of our site workers.

RDNC provides hubs that strengthen the fabric of our community. With afterschool programs for youth and teens, free classes like yoga and dance for adults, weekend art classes for families, and a food bank for seniors, we improve the quality of life in the Richmond District of San Francisco.

The successful candidate will have one year of customer service in an administrative or receptionist capacity. In addition to clear and accurate English language, he/she must be proficient in speaking Cantonese. He/she must be detail oriented and have some data entry experience. Accounting experience is a definite plus. Because this job is the hub of RDNC, he/she must be reliable and flexible. Familiarity with the Richmond District preferred. All candidates will be subject to a clearance of TB test and fingerprinting (criminal background check).

Hours & Compensation: $16/hr. This is a regular, 25 hrs/wk job – hours 12:00 noon to 5:00pm Mon-Fri position. Benefits include pro-rated vacation and holiday pay; health care in accord with the San Francisco HSCO (Health Care Security Ordinance) and sick leave in accord with the San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Ordinance.
