About Reach: The Reach Institute for School Leadership (Reach) is a non-profit graduate school of education, which includes two Academies: The Teaching Academy and the Instructional Leadership Academy. The Teaching Academy is comprised of three distinct programs: The Reach Intern Teacher Program, the Reach Professional Teacher Induction Program, and the Moving Inquiry Into Teaching Program. Reach partners with schools in the Bay Area region and serves approximately 300 educators. While all Reach partner schools have a commitment to serving traditionally underserved communities, they employ a wide variety of educational philosophies and approaches in pursuit of that goal. The Reach Intern, Induction, and Administrative programs are accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and Reach is seeking additional accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
