Job description
Manhattan office of international grant making foundation seeks Program Administrative Support person for a 10 month temporary contract (ending late December 2016).
The role is administrative support to a team. Interest in international migration, and the European refugee crisis, is a plus.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to 2 Senior Staff and the team, manages individual and team calendars, arranges meetings and travel, processes expense reports and invoices.
Handles logistics for department events and meetings, develops background materials and manages costs.
Takes on substantive responsibilities or projects, such as overseeing communications-related projects, and conducting basic research/scanning of news, political landscape, and policy developments.
Experience/Qualifications:
Detail-driven, with experience administering travel and expenses, catering, and scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing among a wide range of tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with office technology; strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience tracking and managing budgets.

Qualifications: Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience/education.
More than one year of progressively responsible experience in a situation relevant to the duties of this role is typically required to develop the skills required for this role.
