JobTrain, a private job-training center and accredited school (accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges), seeks an experienced professional for the central role of Chief Program Officer. Reporting to the VP of Programs and working closely with the Executive Director and the Chief Operating Officer, the CPO will lead our unique combination of an award winning faculty, outstanding client services and assessment team, as well as youth programs, and an onsite child care center.

With sector leading outcomes for completion of programs, job placement, and job retention, JobTrain has continually adapted to meet changing economic and social challenges to remain a pathway out of poverty to a livable wage and ultimately a career.
The Chief Program Officer will supervise a team of managers ensuring JobTrain’s mission is carried out through our vocational training programs, job development and placement services, and an ever growing constellation of support services. The successful candidate will have an understanding of nonprofit organizations, strong management and supervisorial skills, experience with training programs and/or curriculum development, and experience developing and bringing new programs into reality.
