We’re looking for an Entrepreneurship Manager!
The Ye! Community – probably the fastest growing online and offline Community for and by young entrepreneurs – is looking for a new manager! The Ye! Community (an initiative by CYFI) is an entrepreneurship platform that provides an online community, country guides, coaching and funding opportunities as well as trainings to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 16 and 30 (www.yecommunity.com). The ultimate goals are to fight youth unemployment and promote ethical entrepreneurship through supporting young (often social) entrepreneurs.
About the position
This might just be the best job in the world. Your responsibilities include:
Defining and executing the strategy to grow the Ye! Community into the largest online community in the world
Overseeing the development of the online platform (adding/changing functionalities)
Organizing and implementing online and offline trainings
Overseeing the fellowship program: The most promising Ye! entrepreneurs are awarded Ye! Fellowships. Fellows receive more intense support from the Ye! Team and network
Working closely with the Ye! Impact Fund team (which is being set up at the moment) to source the best entrepreneurs from the community to receive growth funding
Ensuring funding and eventually the financial sustainability of the Ye! Community (implement new revenue models
Leading and growing a small team (4-5 FTE including interns, but can grow depending on funding).
The position is full-time and is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. There will be a substantial amount of travel for trainings and partner management required, and compensation will be commensurate with your experience and profile. Start date to be discussed with suitable candidate.
The profile:
We’re looking for Fund Manager that would ideally fit the following criteria:
·Very entrepreneurial. Someone who’s run a revenue generating business at some stage. Tech entrepreneurs are especially recommended to apply (but by no means a requirement)
·Strategic & analytical
·Strong project manager
·Ability to facilitate trainings
·Charismatic and inspiring
·International experience (ideally including emerging markets)
·>3 year work experience
·Young spirit
·Willingness to travel
·”Can do” and “startup” mentality
