Making a Difference with LCS Northwest
We are looking for a CONTRACT MANAGER to manage all aspects of contract and grant administration agency-wide. The Contract Manager will join our Shared Services office in SeaTac, WA.

The ideal candidate will be mission-driven with a desire to make a difference for people served by LCS Northwest. We are looking for someone with excellent time management skills and who will work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment within guidelines. This person will maintain detailed and organized files, provide contract summaries regarding contract terms and conditions, and ensure compliance with governmental law, regulatory requirements and agency policies on contracting. The Contract Manager has a pivotal role in the significant funding LCS Northwest receives through contracts and grants with local, state, and federal governmental agencies, which funding directly supports LCS Northwest’s services giving health, justice and hope to thousands of people served each year. The candidate must be sensitive and respectful of all people regardless of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
The Role:
The Contract Manager will be responsible for all aspects of contracts administration. The role will also:
Review and analyze contracts/grants and other types of agreements, including leases and service agreements, and assess contract risk factors prior to agency signature.
Draft lower tier agreements ensuring pass-through of appropriate terms and conditions.
Draft and/or review independent contractor agreements for mental health professionals and other professional service providers such as lawyers, grant writers and consultants.
Ensure compliance with governmental law, regulatory requirements and contract/grant requirements; provide other agency documentation to funders as requested.
Annually prepare the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards.
Prepare and submit applicable tax-exemption applications as needed for Oregon and Washington properties and annually renew all property tax exemptions.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements as it relates to provider contracting.
Understanding of contracting language and protocol.
Provide technical oversight to fiscal and operations staff involved in grant and contract accounting and administration.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general financial reports, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to work on multiple, time sensitive projects. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of accounting instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
