Role Overview

The part-time Database Administrator will support the team’s work in data collection, interpretation and development. S/he will support the Director of Learning and Evaluation in all data initiatives to ensure that all Juma stakeholders have access to timely, reliable, and actionable information about our participants and their outcomes.

Specific Duties

 Data Managemento Perform ETO administration and maintenance

 Format and reconcile monthly enterprise and savings data with ETO

 Troubleshootdataentryandreportingerrors.o Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant information, including entry/exit from

systems and tracking activity in programs.o Assist staff with data integrity and timeliness of data entry by producing and updating

ETO reports.o Continually assess Juma’s data cleaning and reporting processes, identify opportunities

for automation or consolidation, and measurably reduce processing time.  Data Analysis

o Analyze collected output, outcome, and survey data and prepare reports and visualizations for internal use and external distribution.

 Compliance Reportingo Coordinate with Director of Learning and Evaluation to assist in creating quarterly

Balanced Score Card and program dashboard reportso Create, edit and run custom reports to meet staff and agency needs.

 Other duties as assigned. Key Experience & Strengths

Strong exposure to database structures, fluency with ETO Software preferred

Fluency with Microsoft Excel required, exposure to VBA preferred

Design focus: the ability to translate user needs into usable data reporting and visualizations

Programming experience helpful but not required

Contract Details

Reports to: Director of Learning & Evaluation

Job Location: San Francisco or remote

Starting Salary: $17-34 / hour, DOE

Classification: Full-time, non-exempt

Hours/Week: 10-20 hours/week

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Years of Experience: 2 years

Period: 2-6 months
