DESCRIPTION
The Development Intern will support the Development Team with its fundraising efforts. This internship is part time and work can be done remotely. Great opportunity for a recent college graduate or college student looking to make connections in the progressive movement. Our board includes leaders of the Democratic Party, including Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia.

Our team is spread out across the country. The Development intern will report to our Deputy Development Director based in New Orleans. Candidates interested in working over the Summer or ones looking to start immediately should apply.

The ideal candidate will live in the New Orleans area and posses the following traits:

Detail-oriented
Self disciplined and able to manage their own time as most work will be done remotely
Shares NLC’s Progressive values
Hoping to start a career in grassroots organizing, fundraising, or government
