Summary: Reporting to the Program Supervisor or designate, this position is a direct care worker focusing on improving the quality of life of our individuals served. This is accomplished through the implementation and facilitation of behavioral/habilitation plans, teaching and monitoring skills development and providing support and mentoring for all individuals through a person centered approach.

Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus a valid, current New Jersey Driver License and ability to meet agency insurability requirements. Must be 21 years of age or older. Willing to learn and some familiarity, knowledge or experience in social services/individuals with developmental disabilities, or Home Health Aide/Nursing Assistant /Private Personal Care required. Must be able to successfully complete all required training programs and be able to follow directions and complete all assigned responsibilities. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must have basic computer and math skills.
