The Esophageal Cancer Action Network (ECAN) seeks a Director of Giving responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of ECAN’s fundraising, including a major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, special events and other campaigns. The Director works closely with the CEO and Board in all development and fundraising endeavors.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a pivotal role in the evolution of a fast-growing, highly respected national organization. We are seeking an exceptional individual with a proven track record. ECAN’s offices are currently in Baltimore, but plans are underway to relocate to the DC area.

ECAN is prepared to offer an attractive compensation package, including a competitive base salary, benefits and the potential for a year-end bonus.

Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in professional fundraising
Demonstrated excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills
Knowledge of nonprofit-specific online fundraising & CRM software
Proficient at MS Office Suite
Undergraduate degree

Masters’ degree, Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation and/or certificate in Fundraising Management are assets
