Seeking an Executive Director with proven leadership in the area of early childhood education.
Must have knowledge of effective child development teaching strategies, curriculum and classroom management techniques; sound child development principles of early childhoon education, Head Start and preschool performance standards; and proven success with programs serving ‘at risk’ children and their families in a multi-cultural environment.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a Board of Directors in strategic planning for the organization; have strong, proven experience in the area of financial management, and be a visionary for the organization. Additionally, the candidate must have demonstrated effective staff management and operational expertise with business acumen.
A Bachelor’s degree is required with a specialized focus in the area of child development, reading and/or special needs.
