POSTION DESCRIPTION
The Human Resource Analyst (HR Analyst) maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. The HR Analyst will report directly to the Deputy Director of Administration and work closely with JCYC’s Executive Management team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Responsibilities
Maintains employee benefits programs including managing third party providers, reconciling monthly bills, managing COBRA invoices, administering annual open enrollment process, monitoring and assessing benefit needs and trends;
Manages and supports agency staffing by ensuring hiring practices compliance to labor and wage laws, monitoring DOJ clearances, providing new hire orientation, training employees and facilitating terminations;
Responds to staff questions and problem solves issues concerning agency employee policies;
Provides support in researching labor and wage issues;
Updates and monitors compliance to JCYC employee policies and procedures.
Coordinates with the fiscal department in ensuring employee compliance to policies, processing of forms and maintaining data integrity in accounting and HR system;
Manages Workers’ Compensation cases including coordinating with State Fund Insurance;
Monitors, prepares reports and ensures compliance to OSHA and agency safety standards; manages information requests concerning employee employment information.
General Agency Administration Duties
Participates in agency annual fundraising committee;
Supports other agency events as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of administrative experience (preferably in an HR department) working in a highly motivated office setting, managing projects and personnel
