Position Responsibilities
Crafting position announcements
Posting positions on multiple job search site and through University career offices and alumni associations
Monitoring application submission and reviewing applications for minimum qualifications
Working with Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure qualified applicants are interviewed, reference checks conducted, and background checks completed
Working with our HR Director to ensure that HR policies are followed
Upgrading processes, forms, etc., as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources or a related field
2+ years experience working in human resources
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
4+ years experience in human resources
Experienced in the development or revision of HR policies
Knowledgeable of and/or willing to learn nonprofit employment policies
