Job Description
Human Resources/Staff Development Manager needed for Bronx Based Nonprofit Organization. HR/Staff Development Manager will be responsible for all HR related duties including Staff Trainings and Corporate Compliance. Some of the main trainings will include New Hire Orientations, First Aide, CPR, SCIP, Corporate Compliance and other trainings as needed.
The HR Manager will be responsible for screening potential new hires, managing Help Wanted advertisements, ensuring that agency’s personnel files are in compliance. HR Manager will also do staff recruiting, attend staff recruiting events, and oversee volunteer and intern hiring.
Skills
Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Human Resources. 3-5 years Human Resources/Training Experience. Computer proficiency.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, responsible as well as responsive and able to work independently. Must be able to identify OPWDD’s Staffing regulations.
Experience with OPWDD hiring regulations. Be a qualified SCIP, CPR, First Aide Trainer. Experience interviewing and hiring staff and be able to identify needed and helpful trainings for staff.
