LIFT operates in four cities across the nation where families can come get help. Since LIFT’s founding, over 12,000 volunteer Advocates have served nearly 100,000 individuals and families.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to LIFT’s Senior VP of Strategy and Growth, the Manager of Donor Relations is responsible for managing and refining LIFT’s donor management system, ensuring that LIFT’s Development Team receives efficient and effective support as they cultivate and steward donors. The Manager of Donor Relations will be responsible for generating thoughtful and regular analysis of development data to inform LIFT’s fundraising strategies, and applying data-driven insights to system refinements and new tool development. Success for this role will be defined by the strength of LIFT’s development systems and the leverage it provides frontline fundraisers to achieve their goals.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees user experience for LIFT’s National Development Team’s operations services, ensuring that fundraisers are taking an effective data-driven approach to moves management
Provide regular analysis of progress against goals to LIFT’s Executive Team, regional Executive Directors, and other frontline fundraisers; make recommendations on strategy based on data analysis.
Refine and strengthen LIFT’s development management systems to ensure frontline fundraisers’ success in stewarding donors, from prospecting to cultivation to stewardship.
Refine prospecting and meeting prep templates
Collaborate closely with Communications Team to provide frontline fundraisers with the collateral materials they need to enhance donor experiences.
Generate creative stewardship concepts to support frontline fundraisers
Manage and maintain Salesforce, owning quality control and consistent usage organization-wide; manage iWave (prospecting software).
Collaborate with the Finance Team on monthly reconciliations and annual audit.
Directly supervise two AmeriCorps Development Fellows.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5+ years of work experience, with at least three years of development experience; experience managing others preferred.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with an ability to use data to make decisions and to translate strategy to action.
Detail oriented, results oriented, and strong attention to follow-through.
A creative systems-thinking with experience translating vision into implementation.
Ability to effectively motivate others and support their success.
Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines and goals.
Experience with donor management technology; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
A collegial team player with a proven ability to motivate, engage, and work collaboratively at all levels with prospect donors, volunteers, staff, colleagues, and similar constituencies.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Must be able to attend evening events and work some weekends.
