DESCRIPTION
Anjali House is a small NGO that provides education, basic care, family support and a young adult programme for 120 students. Anjali House began its activities more than 10 years ago. Along the years, we have grown into a “home” for hundreds of children and young adults that we cared for and helped getting access to quality education. We believe that our programs have had a positive impact on the lives of our students, their parents and their communities.
Anjali House has never conducted a detailed evaluation of all the programs and activities it implements towards its students, their parents, their communities and their local schools. This year, we would like to conduct an assessment study and make a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of our 4 main programs
Purpose of the evaluation and the establishment of a long term monitoring system:
Based on our mission statement, the evaluation study will help Anjali house to understand better the impact of its main programs. The outcomes of this study will help Anjali House identify the areas of success (what we are doing well) and the gaps (what we need to improve).
Developing an effective and long term monitoring system will help Anjali House staff to regularly assess the effectiveness of all programs (against the main outcomes) and effectively report the progress to Anjali House Board of Directors and Major Donors.
