Location: Consultant will preferably reside in the Washington Metropolitan Area, not required; workspace will not be provided
Compensation: $25/hour, option for increased responsibilities and pay over time

Background: The B.A. Rudolph Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting young women through scholarships, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The Foundation currently provides three scholarships covering living expenses for summer interns in Public Service and STEM fields, as well as an endowment at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service for an annual full academic scholarship. Between three and four events are held annually to host scholarship recipients, fundraise, and provide outreach to donors and friends of the Foundation. We are entering a period of exciting growth in our programs, outreach and support of young women, requiring operational support and management.
Job Description: The Operations Manager will provide operational support in the day-to-day management of the Foundation, assist in researching new program opportunities to support young women, creating social media and website content, and coordinate the collection and review of scholarship applications. Their primary supervisor will be the Program Director, however for projects related to development and outreach they will also work directly with the Development Director.
Details:
The Operations Manager will preferably be living in the Washington Metropolitan Area, where the Foundation is based and where the majority of our events will occur, and will commit to a one-year contract for part-time employment. A typical week will involve approximately 15 hours of work, but will vary week-to-week, typically ranging between 10-15 hours. Working hours are very flexible, but presence at weekly conference calls will be required, as will presence at events, when requested (scheduled at least 3 months in advance). Consultant will also have weekly calls with supervisor. Compensation will consist of $25/hour, paid monthly. Undergraduate degree is required. Workspace and benefits not provided.
