We are currently looking for a New York-based Operations Manager to provide vital support for the management and overall administration of our team and office. If you are a dynamic individual who is looking to make a difference, loves supporting teams, and wants to work in the tech sector, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and comfortable interfacing with a lot of different types of people. He/She has a high degree of professionalism, a can-do attitude, flexibility to adhere to the evolving needs of the organization, and a tech startup mentality. The position reports to the CEO/Founder.
Responsibilities include:
Project Management
Facilitate the implementation of trainings, including acting as a point of contact for the hosting company.
Secure needed resources and create strategies for trainings.
Administrative
Keep office organized and running smoothly.
Maintain office records and create internal systems and record keeping systems as necessary.
Financial
Process day-to-day financial operations, including invoices, payments to vendors, and team-members’ reimbursement requests.
Support grants and donations management activities including record keeping and providing donor receipts.
Human Resources
Process and administer all employee-related forms and documentation including our benefits program.
Support CEO and management team with recruitment, hiring, and orientation process for new employees
Logistics
Coordinate, manage, and support travel needs for all team members.
Manage activities calendar, including workshop trainings.
Technology
Experience with WordPress and social media (Twitter, FB, Instagram).
Partner with the CEO and management team to identify needs for new technology initiatives; research potential solutions and help determine feasibility for organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably related to Business Management, Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, or Operations Management.
A minimum of 2 years administrative/office operations experience required.
