Full time position available for an Operations Manager to oversee the day to day function of our ambulatory care service, within a community health center, which will include such duties as managing the following departments: Dental, Eye Care , WIC, Teen Clinic, Purchasing, Maintenance, General Administration, Claims Processing and Regulatory Compliance. Full orientation provided.
DUTIES:
• Monitor and evaluate department performance standards, and training needs;
• Recommend operating, program, and capital budgets for assigned areas of responsibility;
• Manage support staff schedules;
• Work collaboratively with department heads and ensure consistency with overall health center policy
• Ensure compliance with insurance, licensing, regulatory, and QI standards;
• Resolve operating problems or conflicts;
• Plan and implement IT and operating systems; design forms, solve workflow problems, write procedural manuals;
• Be part of “administrator on call” rotation;
• Work closely with IT on implementing new EHR and improving computer and network systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Requires a minimum a MBA or MPH degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field and three (2) years of supervisory/management experience; -Must be: organized about your work; have strong supervisory skills, enjoy problem solving, support staff development; and have a commitment to providing quality care and services.to the community,.
