The Art League seeks a passionate, energetic, skilled and creative program co-manager for its SOHO Outreach program for at-risk ten year old girls held on Tuesday Evenings during the school year.

Successful applicants will be skilled classroom managers with the ability to connect with diverse youth participants and adult volunteers. Those in the social work and/or education field (social workers, counselors, etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicant should be comfortable with supervision of 12 children with minimal support. An ability to connect with youth and excellent behavior management skills are essential. Strong organizational skills and an ability to balance multiple priorities are a must. Experience with coaching adults and/or supporting volunteers is a definite plus. A successful applicant will think outside of the box, be flexible, patient, and resourceful, and have a get-it-done attitude. Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Manager receives a salary of $10,000 for approximately 10-12 work hours per week, year round, with more hours during fall teambuilding weekend and spring room renovation weekends.
