Position Description
The Outreach Services Administrative Intern will provide administrative support to the agency’s Outreach Services Department. They will be comfortable with data entry into various databases, and will have advanced excel skills that allow for creation of pivot tables, charts, and data assessment. The position will also provide additional administrative support, as needed. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in supporting the efforts of a multi-service community based organization that strives for excellence across all sectors.
Essential Job Functions
The following job duties are mandatory requirements of the job:
Work with the Outreach Services staff and management to ensure accurate data entry into the departmental data tracking system.
Create pivot tables and charts/graphs that portray accomplishments of the team,as well as areas of improvement
Format and manipulate excel spreadsheets on an as needed basis to better capture departmental data
Communicate with program management regarding data findings
Other Responsibilities
Scan departmental screening forms into appropriate folder in shared drive
Other administrative duties as assigned by the Director and Associate Vice President of Outreach Services.
Education and Certification:
A bachelor’s degree preferred
Internship expected to last for a year.
