We are currently seeking a Director for our NEW preschool, located in the Crystal City area of Arlington, Virginia. Employment will begin in September 2015. We are looking for a very enthusiastic, strategic thinker with good interpersonal skills and a love for children, who can manage all aspects of opening, growing, and promoting our School, which will open in August 2016.

Immediate responsibilities will include recruiting and hiring staff, curriculum development, regulatory and licensing compliance, co-managing preparation of facilities and assisting with the selection and purchasing of materials and equipment along with MVBC Trustee Ministry. Recurring responsibilities will include annual budget planning and management, and overseeing the financial affairs of the School in conjunction with the Trustee/Finance Ministry.

We are seeking a Christian who can articulate their calling to the ministry of administering a Christ-centered preschool and also demonstrate their conviction through intentional preparation, past performance and current practice. This is an exciting challenge for a believer in search of a vocational opportunity where they can cultivate their passion for the spiritual growth of children; lead others to help parents succeed in the most important responsibility a parent will ever have; fill little hearts with an appetite for justice, mercy, and humility; and shape our community through the influence of children who learn early in life to do everything well, for the glory of God. The salary is competitive and negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
