Serve Your City, a DC based non-profit organization providing essential learning opportunities for underserved DC youth is looking for an intern to work as a Program Coordinator. Candidate must be available 20-25 hours per/week.

Position is unpaid: 20-25 hours per/week (some weekends).

Descriptionof Duties:

Provide direct service support in tutoring and mentoring underserved youth

Lead manager in volunteer recruitment

Development and facilitation of programming activities, events, and strategic planning

Required Qualifications:

Commitment to Social Justice and Educational Equity

Experience supporting educational/emotional development of urban youth

Ability to professionally represent organization

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
