Position Summary:
The JF&CS CBHI Services provide comprehensive and highly individualized interventions to children and youth with emotional/behavioral difficulties through In Home Behavior Therapy, In Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, Family Stabilization Team, and Applied Behavior Analysis services. The Director also oversees the services provided through the DDS-DESE contract. The Director of CBHI Services is a multi-talented leader who along with operations management experience also possesses strong child and family clinical skills, as well as staff development and team building skills. The CBHI Services Director is comfortable taking initiative and values working collaboratively with family and external stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions:
Create yearly budget, prepare reports, and ensure targets are met through personnel hiring, expense monitoring, external marketing, and productivity oversight
Participate in external meetings as a key representative of JF&CS CBHS
Responsible for interviewing, and hiring all CBHI Team Members
Directly supervise managers using Reflective Supervision model and conduct monthly staff meeting for team-building, positive reinforcement, policy review, and trainings
Lead meetings with Managed Care Entities including creation and monitoring of the development plan
Search for new opportunities for program growth: geographically, insurance payor mix, diversity of staffing/clientele, spin-off programs, etc.
Ensure compliance with all program policy/procedures/trainings, CARF accreditation regulations, and payor standards and oversee any risk reporting/recommendation
Provide on-call coverage or direct service when necessary
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Masters degree in a human services field from an accredited university
5+ Years of human service experience including at least two years providing care to youth and their families
3-4 Years of supervisory experience
Proven success leading and managing a team of clinicians, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff
Experience with CBHI/Wraparound services strongly preferred
Independent licensure strongly preferred
Ability to take initiative and to multi-task in a fast paced setting
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Reliable transportation for travel between Worcester, Danvers, and Waltham offices
