Located in Harlem NY for 60 years, Addicts Rehabilitation Center Fund Inc. (ARC) seeks to hire a Program Manager to implement, oversee, and direct its new Housing First/Homeless Harm Reduction Program that serves to promote recovery among people facing homelessness with mental and physical health challenges, and substance abuse and addiction. To provide the best possible services to our clients, the Program Manager will be engaged in the day to day operations, strategic planning, program development, implementation, data and quality management, and the management of partnerships related to this program. The Program Manager is a full time position that reports to ARC executive management.

The Program Director is expected to carry out certain specific responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

Providing leadership which supports, challenges, and inspires staff and clients
Effectively managing day to day operations
Helping to create and/or maintain a program culture that is aligned with the ARC program sites’ core purpose, core values, and vision statements
Ensuring the program meets its contractual obligations, and other performance targets as appropriate
Ensuring that the program is well staffed, turnover is kept to a reasonable level, and vacancies are filled in an expeditious manner
Providing effective supervision for program staff
Ensuring that all staff are appropriately oriented, trained, and developing as professionals
Ensuring that the program environment is clean, safe, and inviting
Managing fiscal resources well
Effectively participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of program development initiatives and other quality assurance and improvement activities
Effectively participating in the agency’s Management Committee and other activities as assigned or requested, including research efforts, conference presentations, etc.
Maintaining good working relationships with partners, funders, and other stakeholders
Continuing to learn and grow as a professional and as program expands

Requirements:
Preferred: LCSW and 5 years post masters related experience running a recovery program using Housing First/Harm Reduction model

Strong communication skills, strong program management skills, independent worker.

Salary: 65-75k commensurate with experience
