As the Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full recruiting life cycle. This position reports to the Association Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
Ø Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
Ø Engages and partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
Ø Creates job postings and identifies best methods to communicate internally and externally.
Ø Vet resumes, interviews candidates by phone, and makes recommendations to the hiring manager.
Ø Coordinates and facilitates panel interviews.
Ø Completes reference/background checks.
Ø Serves as an expert for recruiting to branch Human Resources staff.
Ø Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
Ø Manage our social presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Indeed, other job boards, and social sites
Ø Manages internal recruiting process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer dates, etc.
Ø Assists in onboarding of new hires and offboarding of departing staff.
Ø Travel to association branches (No. VA, MD, DC) for presentations, events and meetings.
Qualifications for this awesome opportunity:
Ø Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Ø Three years experience in recruitment to include knowledge of general principles of recruiting, experience managing applicant data bases, experience of applicant tracking systems and experience in candidate sourcing solutions
Ø Strong written and oral communication skills
Ø Excellent organizational skills
Ø Intermediate computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ø Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with confidential data
