Regional Vice President of Medical Operations – Sea Mar Community Health Center – Seattle, WA

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human and housing services to diverse communities, specializing in service the provision of bilingual health services (English/Spanish).

Sea Mar seeks two Regional Vice Presidents of Medical Operations to oversee medical clinic operations in its central and southern regions.

The Regional Vice Presidents of Medical Operations report to Sea Mar’s Deputy Director.

The Central VP will work out of Sea Mar’s administrative offices in south Seattle and the Southern VP must be located in Vancouver, WA.

Regional VPs are responsible for serving as an agency representative for the development and implementation of organization-wide policies and procedures; providing supervision and oversight to clinic managers with identification, resolution and implementation of operational systems to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, productivity and financial viability; developing standards and methods for evaluating and measuring health center performance and activities; actively participating in the creation, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement activities as assigned by the executive director; and actively participating on community boards, groups and community events to increase awareness and to promote positive relationships.

The successful candidates must be committed to Sea Mar’s mission, foster team building; possess the ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned functionswhile maintaining a high standard of quality; be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage overlapping timelines, meet deadlines and maintain project momentum; demonstrate professionalism; and be able to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Graduation from an accredited college, university and completion of a postgraduate course in hospital or medical care administration required.

Five years previous medical management or administrative experience in an ambulatory setting required.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for Central and English/Russian or Spanish preferred for the South.

This position requires moderate to heavy travel within Washington State.
