Our union is dedicated to reversing the economic decline of working people. Towards this end, the Research Coordinator will develop and implement innovative strategies that challenge the immense power of many of the world’s wealthiest corporations.<br />Working under the supervision of the Research Director, the Research Coordinator will work to develop campaign tactics that shed light on corporate abuses and build the influence of ordinary people. The Coordinator will be expected to work with our members and to develop on going relationships with experts in a variety of fields.

Qualifications:

Strong commitment to improving the lives of working people.
Ability to understand industries and markets and imagine strategies to transform them,
Ability to create effective short and long term plans.
Knowledge of current research on economics, demographics, and public policy.
Ability to provide leadership within union and with outside organizations.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to speak Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, or Korean a plus.
Must have car and insurance. Car allowance provided.
