Cities of Service supports mayors and city chief executives to activate impact volunteering initiatives – city-led, citizen-powered programs that target specific needs and seek measurable outcomes. Our coalition is comprised of approximately 200 cities in the U.S., representing more than 50 million people in 43 states. Our team helps cities to prioritize impact, create capacity, and instill a model that can be replicated, with proven tools and methods to engage community members in addressing needs like revitalizing neighborhoods and supporting youth and education. Residents are recast as co-producers of solutions and work side by side with municipal government to create real and lasting change.
