The Aichhorn Center operates a 32-bed psychiatric residential treatment program on the upper west side of Manhattan for teenagers with severe mental illness who cannot be managed in any less intensive setting. We have an opening for a social worker to provide intensive long-term individual and family therapy for a caseload of apx.10 youngsters. The work schedule for this full-time position is daytime, including one weekend day.

Experience with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, and a commitment to working with this population in a closely-knit team setting, are essential.
