Job description
Seeking a full-time Special Events Manager. Responsible for planning and organizing fundraising special events including ride and walks.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college/university or equivalent in experience. Minimum of 2-3 years fundraising experience, preferably with ride, endurance events or walks. Computer literacy required, fundraising database management preferred. (Convio, Donor Pro, Raiser’s Edge) Ability to travel to meetings within the state as required, occasional nights/weekends as required.
Main Responsibilities: Develop and implement recruitment and fundraising strategy, develop and implement communications plan including email campaigns, social media, phone calls and in-person meetings, recruit and steward participants to meet event participation and fundraising goals, coordinate all logistics for events.
