Founded by a former teacher in 2012, Enriched has grown to serve the needs of a broad set of Partner Schools and education organizations across the Greater New Orleans area, and will continue to expand it’s impact in the 2015-2016 school year.
Position Summary
Enriched: NOLA is our flagship region—after two full school years of consistent growth in Orleans Parish, Enriched is seeking a leader to accelerate the growth of our Guest Educator network across Louisiana. The Talent Manager will ensure that Enriched: Louisiana has the highest caliber and diversified talent pool necessary to consistently, effectively, and seamlessly meet the unique needs of each Partner School. His/her primary function will be to recruit, select, retain, and manage the education community talent necessary to maximize the impact of Enriched: Louisiana’s model.
Who You Are
The successful candidate is a highly self-directed, entrepreneurial education leader with a proven track record of quickly establishing and leveraging relationships in key education networks to recruit and matriculate the best-fit talent the local education and broader community have to offer—all with minimal oversight and resources. S/he also has a keen eye for identifying the key knowledge, skills, and mindsets that make for an amazing educator, and recognizes them immediately when exhibited in others. This person can create something from nothing insanely quickly and with highly impactful results, and inspires each and every person they come across in the process be a part of or champion their vision for the future of education.
Extraordinarily Self-Directed Go-Getter: You’re a builder. You set, achieve and obsess about goals and love exceeding them. You have a track record of impressive accomplishment and love challenge. People describe you as someone who just “makes things happen.” Where others see a wall, you amp up to create a bridge/tunnel/way around. You can set and achieve ambitious growth targets and then continually iterating to reach increased levels of impact and revenue for Enriched across your state—all with very little oversight.
Master Communicator and Relationship Builder: You can talk to anyone, anywhere. You build authentic relationships quickly while gathering key information. You are an influencer and visionary with a broad education network, maybe currently leading HR for a district or exiting your own startup. People describe you as a dynamic connector who everyone trusts, feels like they have known forever and wants to follow. You can explain and sell the Enriched vision for education with clarity, authority and nuance, to a prospective Guest Educator, school Hiring Manager, education NGO Alumni Director, and everyone in between.
Passionate Educator and Instructional Guru: You’re a vocal champion for educational equity and social justice. As a former teacher yourself and either instructional coach or screener, you have a deep understanding of what it takes to effectively engage, inspire, and instill new knowledge and skills in kids—and can easily recognize this skill in others. You are passionate about providing incredible educational experiences for all kids, and are comfortable in varying school settings. You can create amazing new ways for Enriched to build durable bridges with schools and communities to ensure students have impactful experiences 365 days/yr.
Communication
Reporting directly to the Regional Director, with access to and support from the current New Orleans regional staff and consultants.
Qualifications

Therefore, first and foremost, this individual must be committed to the mission of Enriched Schools and in the power of talented people from all walks of life working towards creating great educational opportunities for all kids.
Bachelor’s degree required
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2 years of education/teaching experience
1+ years Teacher coaching and/or education screening experience
Recruitment and hiring experience strongly preferred
Deep personal experience with and professional knowledge of public charter schools and urban public education nationwide
Close familiarity with New Orleans and robust, diverse network of relationships across the Louisiana educational landscape
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS word, powerpoint, and excel
