DESCRIPTION
A Place Called Home is seeking a dedicated Teen Services Program Aide.
Under the direction of the Teen and Young Adult Services Program Lead, the Teen Services Program Aide will provide program support to the Bridge to the Future program and will be responsible for curriculum development and implementation, tracking of ongoing teen programs, and organizing special events and opportunities.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/40 hours per week
Hourly Range: $12.00-14.00 DOE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards and values at all times
Assist with the overall development, coordination and facilitation of creative and engaging teen and young adult programming, including classes, workshops, special events and field trips
Research and develop curriculum and workshops for teen members and families, in alignment with the strategic plan
Develop, implement and input attendance and member program participation data into the agency tracking system
Provide support to members and direct to appropriate resources
Assist members with homework and special projects
Provide support for monthly department reports, the annual report, and other reports as necessary
Conduct member evaluations and track progress of members that inform and improve programming and outcomes.
Develop and implement evaluation tools for each class in alignment with the agency and department goals
Support in coordinating and participating in outreach and recruitment efforts for teen members
Assist with the planning and coordination of special events
Manage department event requests by coordinating the logistics
Assist with assigned administrative duties and execute in a timely manner
Assist with the supervision of members during program hours, special events and field trips
Create a safe and engaging learning space that promotes the APCH REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courage, and Hope) values
Assist members with applications for special opportunities (leadership camps, study abroad, etc.)
Develop partnerships with organizations to offer special opportunities
Assist with member-led fundraising efforts to support special opportunities
Develop and maintain a resource database of special opportunities (education, cultural, leadership, etc.) for teen members
Manage and maintain an inventory of office supplies
Serve as a mentor and role model for members
Attend all required program meetings
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
To perform this important job successfully, the Teen Services Program Aide must be able to fulfill all of the elements of the Job Description to the highest standard, and be able to work well with colleagues in a high energy, collaborative environment with open communications. Education/Training/Experience
• B.A. Degree in Social Services or similar field
• Two years’ experience working with teen and young adult population
