TV Production Coordinator – Cambridge Community Television – Cambridge, MA

Cambridge Community Television is the community media center serving the extraordinary city of Cambridge, Massachusetts. CCTV is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team.

CCTV seeks an energetic, ambitious, creative individual who loves producing and can share that excitement with others. If you thrive on the challenge of managing projects from the big picture down to the smallest details, love organizing groups and producing with others, and want to work in a diverse, ever-changing environment committed to providing access to the media for everyone, this position may be for you.

The Production Coordinator’s responsibilities include: working with non-profits and City agencies to coordinate coverage of local events, identifying community issues to address on CCTV’s channels, recruiting for and managing production groups, recruiting and supervising production interns, coordinating CCTV-initiated production, and working with clients on production services for hire. This is a full-time position, primarily afternoons and evenings. Some weekend work might be required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experiences as a good communicator and team player with excellent organizational, studio and field digital video production, computer, and people skills. Prior experience in coordinating group production with non-professionals is required; experience in community television is helpful, as is knowledge of Cambridge.
