The ideal candidate for the Media Outreach Specialist position should be as intellectually curious about science as you are about Hillary Clinton and the latest earnings report from Twitter. You should be a gifted writer and strategist that can demonstrate an ability to pitch great stories, post pithy Twitter updates and draft well-argued blog posts on behalf of some of the most interesting changemakers on the planet. You are a doer, not an observer, and your greatest thrill is seeing your quotes, pitch idea and client in the media you consume every day. You are a confident, enthusiastic and determined team player with excellent client relations experience. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a public relations or social media firm or in a communications role in the political, nonprofit or social impact sectors.
