Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a CARF accredited division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, is a leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Northern New Jersey.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Medical Director. The Medical Director shall serve as the Chief of Staff to all doctors and nurses employed by the Agency, and shall have the authority and responsibility for the overall quality and integrity of clinical services provided by such personnel.

The Medical Director also serves as the staff psychiatrist for the PACT program by maintaining a caseload of clients and providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management. PACT provides direct behavioral health and social service care to severely and persistently mentally ill patients who have failed in traditional outpatient treatment. The PACT model consists of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, vocational specialists and substance abuse counselors conducting outreach to clients

REQUIREMENTS
• Medical Doctor License
• Board Certified Psychiatrist
• N.J. Controlled Dangerous Substance Registration
• US DEA Controlled Substance Registration
