Position Summary
Seattle University has an exciting, dynamic opportunity for a Reprographic & Mailing Services Manager to join our community.
Under the general direction of the Director of Procurement, in a team-centered environment, this position oversees the operation of the University’s interdepartmental and retail digital printing operations, including bindery and standard mail; Mailing Services, Managed Print Services and Office of Copyright Services .
Essential Job Functions
Confers with and makes recommendations to university administrators regarding operations and equipment procurement for Reprographic, SUperCopy, Mailing Services, Managed Print and Copyright Services.
Prepares annual budgets and maintains financial records of Reprographic, SUperCopy, Mailing Services, Managed Print.
Monitors departments activities and completed project cost in order to bill the appropriate university department or program for services rendered and for planning purposes.
Develops marketing strategies to increase awareness and build volume of interdepartmental and retail sales across all product offerings.
Assures that department staff have the right tools to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Marginal Job Functions
Services as back-up by assisting in the day-to-day physical operations of SUperCopy, Reprographic, Mailing Services and Copyright Services as needed.
Compensation Salary will be discussed during the interview process and is commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business and three or more years of progressively responsible experience in management of administrative services operation including digital printing, offset printing and mailing services or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
All candidates must show a demonstrated commitment to diversity and the university’s mission, vision and values.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree. Postion requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse audiences with a customer-service focus.
Must be detailed oriented with an attention to accuracy.
Ability to undertake multiple priorities concurrently and independently prioritize to meet due dates and time lines.
Knowledge of the digital and offset printing industries, and mailing services operations.
Knowledge of publishing industry and command of copyright laws preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
Strong negotiation skills.
