The CIS of Washington state office is a small, but high energy agency supporting 12 independent affiliates across Washington in adherence to guidelines developed by the CIS national office. Our role is to help ensure local affiliates have the tools and capacity to provide and sustain strong student services in their local communities.
The Development Director is responsible for planning, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and nurturing relationships which provide financial support for the State Office focusing on Annual Giving, Special Events and Corporate & Foundation relationships. The Development Director is responsible for meeting annual revenue goals by maintaining and growing existing revenue while creating new sources by developing prospects and stewarding individual, corporate, foundation and other supporters. Expertise will also be utilized to assist and supplement local fund raising efforts for the independent affiliate offices within the Washington state CIS dropout prevention network.
