Masters-level Adoption Social Worker Adopt International – San Francisco, CA Full time social work position available in SF. Benefits include PTO and partial medical insurance, after probationary period.

Adopt International is a licensed 501c(3) adoption agency that has been providing international and domestic adoptions over the past 30 years. Our agency focuses on the right of every child to have a loving family, and respect for both birth families and adoptive families. We are an agency that focuses on education not judgment and providing adoption awareness in our communities and beyond.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Domestic and International Home Studies, Post placement visits and reports • Advisement of birth parents rights and Relinquishments • Outreach and education with local hospitals and pregnancy clinics • Reviews home studies submitted by other agencies/contact social workers • Reviews Finalizations and other court docs, quarterly stats • Provides general adoption consults • Actively participates in weekly staff meetings, adoption related conferences and other professional development related activities

Office Responsibilities: – Case Management – Telephone intakes with prospective clients – Works with clients in completing forms, paperwork, etc. – Makes appropriate referrals to clients – Assists director and office manager with special projects – Facilitate Info Nights 1/month – Hours: Monday- Friday 9-5 pm – On-call one weekend each month – Flexibility to work evenings/weekends on occasion

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: – Masters Degree – MSW from an accredited program or equivalent. Experience in social services field preferred, must meet CDSS regulations – Must have CA Drivers License – LCSW supervision not provided – Must also meet CDSS regulations/meets INA requirements for home study preparer in 8 CFR 204.3(b) -Bilingual prefered
