Inside Sales Representative – Art in Action – Menlo Park, CA

Art in Action is seeking a part-time Inside Sales Representative to help us advance our mission by selling the program into more schools.The Representative will market this visual arts education program to educators and parent groups in targeted markets, growing revenue and student impact for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Effectively qualify leads through outbound direct sales, inbound calls, web leads, and email campaigns.
Prospect new and grow existing accounts
Work with Sales Manager and management to target regional and on-going campaigns
Identify the appropriate decision makers at a school and introduce and demonstrate the value of the Art in Action program to them
Maintain and develop an understanding of product knowledge and education trends
Manage leads and activities in CRM database (Salesforce.com)
Report on status of sales objectives and activities to management as requested
Maintain strong customer relationships with our customer base of educators, administrators and parents
Maintain a high level of commitment and strong work ethic to achieve business development and team goals

Experience/Qualifications:

Successful sales or marketing experience — education sales knowledge preferred
Salesforce.com or similar CRM knowledge/experience is preferred
Self-starter, strong sense of responsibility and productivity
Professional and friendly phone demeanor
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Able to work independently and as a team
Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with Mac platform, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and social media

Exempt, part-time position
